I started this new Food blog ‘Chow At Home’. There has been so much too blog about that I’ve been finding it hard to keep up!
I introduced myself and hope you’ve gotten to know me a bit better. See Intro: part 1 and part 2 posts.
I then kicked off with a round up of my all time favourite things to bake and cook.
Recipes (some long-awaited and some new) have been posted. Mainly scrummy sweet things (Granola bar tray bake, Peanut butter & chocolate chip cookies, Banoffee cupcakes and Coconut & lime tea loaf) and a savoury delight (Carrot & coriander soup).
My Reviews have included tea places and restaurants (Afternoon tea @ The Morritt, Tea Sutra and Chinese New Year meal at Fat Buddha) and a foodie experience (Chocolate making with Kenspeckle).
I am hoping to catch up and get into the swing of blogging by the end of February. I am getting there!
Anyways, here’s a peek of what’s coming up this month…
More Recipes, as I’ll be cooking and baking on several occasions (a Chinese meal for Leigh’s work colleagues; a Valentine’s double date meal with our friends Tor & Chris; and visiting my brother and cousins in Manchester for Wesley’s housewarming).
More Reviews, where I will continue to take advantage of Newcastle Restaurant week. This includes a date night at Las Iguanas and a meal with Leigh’s parents at Junipers Pantry in Nectar bar.
